1. The pile driver is composed of a crawler crane and a diesel pile hammer or a vibrating pile hammer. When operating, the respective safety and technical instructions must be strictly followed. Among them, the crawler crane needs to check whether the hydraulic system, lifting mechanism, etc. are normal according to its operating procedures; the diesel pile hammer needs to pay attention to the fuel supply and the lubrication of the hammer body, and the vibrating pile hammer needs to confirm the amount of lubricating oil in the vibration box and the operating status of the motor to ensure that the various components work together safely and in compliance.
2. The installation site of the pile driver must be flat and solid. If the bearing capacity of the foundation is insufficient, a roadbed box or a 30mm thick steel plate must be laid under the crawler, and the laying spacing must not exceed 300mm. When laying, it is necessary to ensure that the steel plate or roadbed box is flat and warped, and in close contact with the ground to disperse the pressure during the operation of the pile driver, prevent the equipment from tilting due to foundation settlement, and provide stable foundation support for the pile driving operation.
3. The installation and disassembly of the pile driver must be strictly carried out according to the procedures specified in the factory manual. For pile drivers with telescopic crawlers, the crawlers should be expanded before installation. This operation needs to be performed without counterweight, and the upper slewing platform should be turned to a 90° position with the crawlers to ensure the balance of the fuselage during the expansion process. During expansion, it is necessary to observe whether the crawler telescopic mechanism runs smoothly. After confirming that there is no jamming, proceed with the subsequent installation steps to avoid equipment damage due to improper operation.
4. Once the column base is in place, the horizontal fine-tuning hydraulic cylinder should be tested. During the trial, the hydraulic system should be gradually operated with the purpose of inspecting whether the hydraulic cylinder is stable and whether there are oil leakages. After verification of its good condition, the piston rod is pulled out in preparation for the installation of the column. After the verification of it operating normally, the piston rod is pulled out to prepare for column installation.During the trial, working pressure and stroke information of the hydraulic cylinder should be measured in order to ensure that its performance is up to the requirements of installation in case the failure of the base adjustment mechanism after column installation affects the overall stability.
5. When installing the column, the crawler drive wheel should be placed at the rear, and the front tipping point of the crawler should be filled with iron wedges. At the same time, the brake stop mechanism and slewing mechanism should be braked to prevent the equipment from moving during installation. Following the placement of the horizontal telescopic arm with the pin, while placing the vertical hydraulic cylinder, there should be a wooden pad placed beneath it for balancing the main machine. The verticality of the column should be monitored simultaneously during installation, and the extension length of the vertical hydraulic cylinder should be adjusted so that the column is exactly perpendicular to the ground for preventing pile deviation or equipment security risks resulting from column tilting.
